Key Responsibilities:--- - - - -Provide individualized financial aid counseling to current and prospective students and their families.--- - - - -Assist students with the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other required documentation.--- - - - -Analyze and verify financial aid applications in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.--- - - - -Determine student eligibility for financial aid programs and prepare award packages.--- - - - -Conduct financial literacy workshops and presentations to educate students on budgeting, loan management, and scholarship opportunities.--- - - - -Collaborate with Admissions and Enrollment Management teams to support recruitment and retention initiatives.--- - - - -Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.--- - - - -Stay informed of changes in financial aid regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Requirements:Qualifications:
--- - - - -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Education, Business Administration) required.--- - - - -At least 1-2 years of experience in financial aid, higher education, or a related field preferred, but not required--- - - - -Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and processes.--- - - - -Proficiency in financial aid management systems (e.g., Ellucian Colleague) and Microsoft Office Suite.--- - - - -Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.--- - - - -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.--- - - - -Lourdes alumnae are encouraged to apply.--- - - - -Commitment to providing exceptional service to diverse student populations.
