Spire Institute Academy in located in Geneva, Ohio (40 minutes from downtown Cleveland) Description: Spire Academy in Geneva, Ohio is accepting applications for a Women's Volleyball Director/Head Coach for the 2024-2025 season. Duties & Responsibilities: ? Lead and manage the vision and strategy of SPIRE volleyball program regarding growing the Academy, Camps and Events business.? Oversee individual skill development and practices (pre-season, in season and post-season) ? Lead Volleyball Operations - Collaborate and work with other coaches on staff - Facilitate in putting together practice plans, schemes and strategies ? Work with Admissions for recruiting efforts during the year to fulfill enrollment targets ? Fulfill Transportation assistance when needed (Driver's License required) ? Game and practice film breakdown. Help create highlights and recruiting tapes for players? Manage the supervision of players and team throughout the day and on the road during the entire school year ? Monitor academic progress of student-athletes ? Help with college placement program for all players - Special projects and other duties assigned by Head coach and Director of Volleyball ? Oversee running SPIRE workouts throughout the school year? Help Marketing efforts for Academy, Camps and Clubs? Ability to network with college coaches and other volleyball contacts ? Assist in creating and executing camps, training and clinic program throughout the 12-month year (fall, winter, spring and summer)? Help and assist with the collaboration and growth of the SPIRE volleyball club? Must be trustworthy and reliable ? Maintain good attendance and punctuality - Maintain SPIRE standards and reputation in the industryRequirements:? Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited University ? Previous experience in athletics ? Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays ? Desire to work in High School or College athletics ? 3+ years of coaching experience (high school, college or professional) - Ability to breakdown film and put together video clips, highlights and edits ? Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background screening ? Need to be able to lift 50lbs Compensation: ? Base Salary and Bonus? Potential Housing and Meals?
