Director of Sales Operations will oversee all aspects of our sales
operations, ensuring our sales team has the structure, data, and
tools needed to succeed. In this role, you will lead efforts to
optimize and innovate sales processes, manage data-driven insights
for leadership, and create scalable solutions that align with our
company's strategic objectives. This role is ideal for a strategic
thinker with a hands-on approach to operational challenges, who
excels in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Once you join our
team, you will---
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Sales Leadership to
define and execute sales strategy, forecast accurately, and develop
territory, quota, and compensation plans that align with business
goals. Partner on annual and quarterly planning to optimize for
growth.
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization: Drive continuous
improvement across all sales processes, from lead management to
deal closure. Identify and implement best practices that increase
productivity and reduce friction, ensuring the sales process is
efficient, scalable, and customer-centric.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Oversee analytics and reporting
functions, providing actionable insights to the Sales and Executive
teams. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports that
offer visibility into sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting
accuracy.
- Technology & Systems Management: Lead the management of CRM and
other sales tools, ensuring seamless integration, data accuracy,
and user adoption. Work with IT and other stakeholders to evaluate,
select, and implement new technologies that enhance sales
productivity and reporting capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a critical liaison
between Sales and other departments, including Marketing, Product,
Finance, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment on key
initiatives, product launches, and client solutions. Facilitate
smooth information flow and collaboration to support end-to-end
revenue generation.
- Sales Enablement & Training: Partner with Sales Enablement to
develop training, onboarding, and continuous learning programs that
equip the sales team with tools, resources, and knowledge to
succeed. Oversee the creation of sales playbooks, competitive
insights, and other assets that drive sales effectiveness.
- Leadership & Team Development: Build, mentor, and develop a
high-performing Sales Operations team, fostering a culture of
collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven
decision-making.Skills & Experience
- Experience: 7+ years of Sales Operations experience, with a
proven track record in a software, technology, or consulting
environment. At least 3 years' experience building and scaling
sales operations functions.
- Strategic & Analytical: Strong strategic thinking skills with a
deep analytical mindset and proficiency in analyzing sales data.
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable
insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with CRM software
(e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce), data visualization tools (e.g.,
Tableau, Power BI), and other sales tech stack components. Strong
Excel and data modeling skills.
- Process & Efficiency Focused: Demonstrated ability to design
and optimize sales processes, balancing efficiency with customer
experience.
- Influential Leadership: Ability to lead and influence
cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with executive
leadership.
