Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Associate Director of State
Government Affairs for the Southeast Region.
Key Responsibilities
Lobby state legislators and government officials to advance
legislative and regulatory positions
Identify and assess legislative issues impacting the pharmaceutical
industry and provide insights to internal stakeholders
Encourage adoption of policy positions by industry trade groups and
advocacy organizations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
A minimum of seven-plus (7+) years of experience in government
relations
Experience lobbying elected officials and staff in state
government
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and related public policy
issues
Advanced knowledge of state government affairs and public
policy
