Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coder - Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
Review clinical documentation and apply appropriate ICD-10 and PCS
Diagnosis codes for inpatient accounts
Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards while ensuring
compliance with official coding guidelines
Collaborate with medical staff to resolve documentation
discrepancies and ensure timely coding of charts
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of experience coding inpatient records
3-5 years of experience with ICD-10 and PCS coding
Must hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or
CIC
Must maintain current professional credentials
