Job Description:
A company is looking for a Portuguese-English Over-the-Phone
Interpreter.
Key Responsibilities
Provide over-the-phone interpretation services between Portuguese
and English
Utilize knowledge of medical and legal terminology as needed
Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity during
interpretations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Proficiency in English and Portuguese at a bilingual/native
level
Minimum of 1 year of interpreting experience
High school diploma in native language
International certifications in healthcare (e.g., PICSI, ALTA,
HIPAA) are a plus
Familiarity with medical terminology; legal terminology knowledge
is an advantage
