Established and growing design/build residential building and remodeling company has an opening for a residential construction estimator. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our team. Responsibilities: --- To assist and coordinate with sales team --- To understand and create budgets and estimates for all remodeling and new construction. --- Write accurate, comprehensive and descriptive contracts that lead to successful, profitable construction projects. --- To thoroughly understand blueprints/drawings, scope of work and do take-offs. --- To secure bids from sub-contractors and suppliers. --- Work together with trades and vendors to ensure project profitability. --- To manage change orders --- To have an understanding of all pricing and templates and update regularly. --- To understand and model our Core Values Qualifications: --- 5 years' hands-on experience in residential building and remodeling --- 1 year experience as a residential construction estimator. --- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite --- Excellent verbal and written communication skills --- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize well. --- Must care about people, have great character and attitude, as well as enthusiasm and passion (Hint---These are HUGE with us!)
